RESET is a practical, individually tailored programme that helps you begin changing how your dog experiences everyday life.

We start by supporting your dog’s nervous system. That means looking at what’s keeping them on edge, reducing unnecessary pressures and helping them get the rest, recovery and opportunities to meet their natural needs that they may be missing.

Alongside this, we’ll begin building practical foundations for change, working together at home and on walks so you can support your dog in real situations.

During RESET

What will we actually work on?

  1. Making everyday life less stressful

We might adjust routines, look at sleep and rest, change how walks are approached or introduce activities that help your dog decompress.

It’s not about doing less with your dog forever. It’s about creating better conditions for them to cope, recover and learn.

  2. Helping your dog feel more comfortable out in the world

We’ll work at a level your dog can manage, whether that’s creating more space around other dogs, slowing down walks, encouraging exploration or helping them recover after something difficult.

Rather than constantly asking your dog to focus on you, we’ll help them develop the confidence to experience their surroundings and make choices.

  3. Building communication and practical skills

You’ll learn to recognise your dog’s early signs of discomfort, respond before things escalate and help them navigate difficult moments.

We’ll also introduce appropriate practical skills, such as moving away from triggers, using the environment as a reward or encouraging your dog to check in with you naturally.

  4. Recognising progress and knowing what to do next

We’ll look at the changes happening between appointments and adjust the work as needed.

You’ll begin recognising meaningful improvements, whether that’s easier recovery, more relaxed exploration, calmer transitions or your dog making choices that help them cope.

Who is RESET for?

RESET can support dogs who become easily excited, struggle to settle, react to everyday situations, seem worried or find the world difficult to navigate.

It’s also suitable when you want to establish stronger foundations before working on more complex difficulties.

RESET is a complete programme in its own right. For some dogs, these five sessions provide enough support to continue independently. Others may benefit from the wider rehabilitation offered through REGAIN.

RESET or REGAIN?

Two programmes. Different levels of support.

RESET

£600

Five individually tailored sessions where we begin supporting your dog’s nervous system and putting the foundations for change into practice.

A focused programme that can provide a strong starting point or complete support in its own right.

REGAIN Signature Programme

£1,500

Ten individually structured sessions providing more time to work through different difficulties, practise in changing environments and adapt the rehabilitation plan through setbacks, plateaus and new challenges.

REGAIN also includes a personalised rehabilitation plan, printed REGAIN Workbook, tailored resources and private Voxer support, including three months after the sessions finish.

What both programmes share

  • Individually tailored
  • Nervous-system-first
  • Asphodel Facebook community
  • Graduate aftercare: optional £100 follow-up sessions

RESET is shorter, not lighter. Every session is one-to-one and shaped around your dog, just as it is in REGAIN.

Your dog doesn’t have to complete RESET before REGAIN.

During your free Discovery Call, I’ll recommend the support that best fits the difficulties you’re experiencing and the work involved.

You don’t need to decide which programme is right for your dog.
